We’re delighted to announce Colin Bright and Kyle Munro have successfully completed their four-year apprenticeship programmes with us and have been retained as full time employees – Colin is a heating engineer in the Mechanical team and Kyle Munro is a service engineer in the Service team.
Thomas Quinn continues to progress on his apprenticeship journey as he enters his third year working towards being a qualified heating engineer.
As we look to the next generation, we have also now recruited two new apprentices:
Firstly, Paul Clancy, who we brought into our business through the fantastic Glasgow Chamber of Commerce programme, StepUp Glasgow, which provides local school leavers with an opportunity to gain work experience and employment with local businesses. Paul is now a full time employee with us and has secured a place to begin his apprenticeship journey this month.
Our second new apprentice is joining our service team imminently – more news to follow here soon.
Gary Shepherd, Managing Director at James Ramsay, said: “We’re delighted to be able to report on our apprenticeship scheme success stories. For those completing their apprenticeships during the pandemic, it took exceptional effort and dedication, and I’m proud to have such a strong team behind us.
“We are passionate about investing in our people. Our dedicated team members continually contribute to making our business the success it is now and the success it will be in years to come, and we could not do it without them.”
