We’ve been successful in our bid to deliver the boiler upgrade works at the Scottish Prison Service’s HMP Perth facility. The contract award follows a competitive tender process which includes the design, installation, testing and commissioning of a new boiler plant to serve the prison’s main energy centre.
The project will see the replacement of four 1200kW dual-fuel (gas/oil) boilers that provide medium temperature hot water (MTHW) to all buildings across the HMP Perth estate. In addition, the scope includes associated infrastructure such as burners, pipework, headers, pumps, flues, safety systems and controls, as well as the design and installation of a new 24m high chimney stack with stainless steel flue liners.
