We’re pleased to welcome John Scholes to the team as Project Manager.
He joins us with strong experience delivering engineering projects in complex industrial environments. Previously, as Engineering Project Manager at Scottish Leather Group, he led capital projects and engineering improvements across manufacturing operations, managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating contractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery. Prior to this, he was Technical Team Leader at Chivas Brothers (Pernod Ricard), and led engineering teams in a fast-paced production setting, maintaining operational performance while driving continuous improvement and high safety standards.

As a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), John combines practical engineering knowledge with structured project management and team leadership experience.
In his role at James Ramsay, he will manage projects from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, engineers and subcontractors to ensure effective coordination, cost control and excellence standards in project delivery.
